The innovative digi sensor

No more time wasted defining the limits of your sensor’s range, thanks to virtually invisible digi sensors integrated in the luminaire. This can now be easily and flexibly adjusted via the STEINEL Connect App:

• The 180° detection area of the sensor is divided into three zones
• Each of the three zones can be activated or deactivated individually
• The reach and sensitivity can be individually adjusted for each of the three zones

This allows neighbouring properties or public streets and footpaths to be excluded from the detection zone and switching errors to be minimised.
The combination of three PIR sensors and innovative technology using mirrors also allows us to extend the sensor's radial and tangential detection coverage. As a result, the direction of travel has no effect on the coverage within a radius of up to 8 m.
